Expert Ultrasound Guided Injection London
Expert Radiologist-Run Injection Clinic

Ultrasound-Guided Injections:
Precision Relief.

Why settle for a "blind" injection? At LSRI, every procedure is performed under high-resolution ultrasound guidance to ensure 100% accuracy and maximum safety. Same-day results, expert delivery.

Proven Accuracy

Don't Guess Where the Needle Goes.
See it.

Traditional "blind" injections rely on physical landmarks and surface feel. Research shows these can miss the joint or tendon space up to 30% of the time.

Unmatched Accuracy

We watch the needle enter the target in real-time, ensuring medication is deposited at the micron level of the injury.

Safety First

Visualisation allows us to safely navigate away from critical nerves and blood vessels, drastically reducing complication rates.

Instant Diagnostic Check

Every injection includes a focused scan. If your condition has changed (e.g., a new tear), we identify it before injecting.

Clinical Insight

"A guided injection is not just more accurate—it is safer and provides longer-lasting therapeutic benefits for the patient."

Your Journey to Recovery

Our clinical protocols are strictly aligned with the standards set by the Royal College of Radiologists (RCR), the American College of Radiology (ACR), and the NICE Guidelines for evidence-based musculoskeletal care.

1

Preparation Checklist

  • Notify Us: If you take blood thinners (Warfarin, Rivaroxaban), are on antibiotics, or have a latex allergy.
  • Clothing: Wear loose garments. You may need to wear a gown for hip or shoulder injections.
  • No Driving: You must arrange transport home as local anaesthetic can cause temporary numbness.
2

The Procedure

Under sterile conditions, the Radiologist will use ultrasound to find the target. After cleaning the skin, a local anaesthetic is often used to ensure the procedure is near-painless.

Did you know? Most injections take less than 15 minutes and you can walk out of the clinic immediately.
3

Post-Procedure Care

  • Rest: Avoid strenuous exercise or heavy lifting for 24–48 hours to allow the medication to settle.
  • Pain Management: You may feel "sore" as the anaesthetic wears off. Use paracetamol if needed.
  • Timeline: Steroid benefit typically starts at 3-5 days and peaks at 2 weeks.

Understanding Risks
