LSRI’s nearest clinic to Wembley is LSRI Northwest London in Harrow, at Medic Care Direct on Station Road in North Harrow, close to North Harrow Underground station. It is roughly 3.8 miles from Wembley Park station in a straight line (approximate, measured from station and postcode coordinates). The clinic is led by Dr Prashant Sankaye, Consultant MSK Radiologist with more than 20 years’ experience.

You are welcome to book at either clinic, whichever you prefer: LSRI Harley Street, our flagship clinic in the heart of London’s Harley Street medical district, or LSRI Northwest London in North Harrow.

Whether you live near Wembley Park, Wembley Central or North Wembley, the Harrow clinic offers musculoskeletal ultrasound and ultrasound-guided injections, and is open on Sunday mornings as well as through the week.

Dr Sankaye assesses knee pain, hip pain and shoulder pain, including frozen shoulder, as well as tennis elbow, plantar fasciitis, tendon problems, sports injuries and soft-tissue lumps. An ultrasound scan often shows what is going on while you are in the room, and if an injection is appropriate it can be guided precisely to the right spot.

Getting to LSRI Northwest London from Wembley

  • By Underground from Wembley Park: take a northbound Metropolitan line train to Harrow-on-the-Hill. Trains towards Watford, Amersham or Chesham continue one more stop to North Harrow; trains towards Uxbridge go a different way after Harrow-on-the-Hill, and some fast trains do not stop at North Harrow, so change at Harrow-on-the-Hill if needed. The clinic at 62 Station Road is about 70 metres from the station, a one-minute walk, and is step-free, all on one floor. North Harrow station itself has stairs to the platforms and no lifts.
  • By car: there are pay-and-display bays on Station Road and Pinner Road, and a council car park on Cambridge Road (HA2 7LD), about a five-minute walk away. Harrow Council gives the first hour free once a day in its on-street bays and most of its car parks, but you still need to start a session with PayByPhone or at a PayPoint.

Either. You can book at whichever clinic suits you best. Our Harrow clinic (LSRI Northwest London, 62 Station Road, North Harrow, HA2 7SJ) is the closer of the two to Wembley, and it is also open on Sunday mornings. Our other clinic is LSRI Harley Street, at 19 Harley Street, London W1G 9QJ.

Is the Harrow clinic step-free?

Yes. The clinic is step-free, all on one floor. North Harrow station has stairs to the platforms and no lifts.
